What a fun celebration in 2nd grade! The kids had a ball participating in games, like Mexican Musical Chairs, spanish Bingo (color words and number words), Mexico map puzzles, the huevo spoon race, and build a mayan temple, just to name a few. This fun day goes along with our Social Studies unit-- comparing our culture to Mexico's. A big thank you to all of the parents who helped us make this day a huge success. Thanks for helping set up/clean up, running games, taking care of the food, and sending in delicious treats, juice, and paper goods. Your time, support, and generosity is so appreciated, as always!

I could not pull myself away from the myan temple game. It turned out I was having snack late with Abby and Mrs. Brown.

Hi, I just had the time to say a quick hello before school starts and we are off to field day. I'm hoping that I have red shirts. Have a Good day!

I'm not having the BEST summer, but it's fair enough. I'm mostly sitting in the kids room at Durham Fitness, or at the Wallingford Pool. How's your summer going? I'd love to know!
